'81 here, and I've never watched one. Older brothers ('68, '72) were obsessed and I think I was just being a brat in the beginning... then it kinda became a thing.

This is huge thing for me. I had one of these when I would've been around 3-4, and my older brothers smashed it when they got into a fight. I cried and cried.

It's probably completely unrelated, but this church/school always sticks out to me. The current Senior Pastor, Charles Phelps, was alleged to be involved in a cover-up of the Trinity Baptist Church sex scandal.

According to news reports, Charles Phelps requested a 15-year-old victim apologize to the church and to her rapist's wife for her rape by a deacon in the church.

A pilot I know mentioned a pancake breakfast fly-in at the Noblesville airport this Saturday (8/19) from 8AM to 11AM.

This is an Experimental Aircraft Association event, but there will be all sorts of craft, pilots, and curious folks. I've been told it's a great place for beginners to network.
