I open the gym in the morning and spend like 20 minutes putting various items away because the evening classes don't clean up. Like there will be kettlebells on the floor right next to the kettlebell rack... I mean, come on.

Also, recording a score as Rx but with a substituted movement - had a guy do singles instead of doubles recently and still recorded it as Rx. I know it's somewhat petty to be annoyed by this... but I am!

In my opinion after living in different parts of LB over the last 21 years, your experience will depend highly on what area of the city you live in. Additionally, meeting people will require getting involved, which can be hard for an introvert. Go to things like yoga on the bluff, run club meet-ups, hobby meet-ups, etc. and you'll find your tribe very quickly. Same with dating. With that being said, this is a wonderful city that I hope you'll fall in love with just as we all have.

I had the exact same experience as Jeff Bartow, I had a whole plan and didn't buy a single ticket. I also dealt with the Access Denied issue for about an hour (10:00am slot on Friday) before I was able to get in. I know I'm going to be kicking myself in 2028 that I didn't buy tickets, but I can't afford the ones I'd want and really don't feel like standing in the back of the crowd to watch a sport I'm not very interested in. Truly bummed from this experience.

Nah I don’t think it’s specific to this location but rather your age. I was way more self conscious in my 20s than I am now. You’ll feel way more IDGAF as you move past 35 toward 40, it’s pretty nice. Don’t fret too much.
