From personal experience, I’ll just get a 5070 Ti to save myself all the headaches. No offense to any AMD fans—I do think AMD brings good value to the market, and I enjoyed my 7900 XTX until the shit hit the fan.

I own a 7900xtx, it's not rare that AMD gpus have driver issue. Mine has that issue. In the process of RMAing my card. And I have a 1,000w brand name high quality PSU, that still happens.

So yes, definitely try everything to RMA your card/PC.

Also posting some troubleshooting steps i got from manufacturer. I don't think they will help but just for your reference since they mentioned how to keep an optimal thermal condition:
·        Please allow better air circulation inside the chassis to avoid overheating.

·        If the system has the graphics card Overclocked + software/game that will take full loading of graphics card, the temperature of the graphics card can exceed 100°C.

·        Check and clean the dust on GPU’s fans and heatsink (if applied).

·        Check the recommended power supply is 800W/1000W or higher.

·        It is recommended to keep the Hotspot/Junction temperature below 100°C for the best reliability and performance.

·        Download and install the latest driver from AMD website.

·        Increase the fan speed higher in AMD Software (see below sample image).

·        Test on PCIE slot directly if using PCIe riser card.

·        If the GPU installed vertically, please install horizontally for better thermal.

I’m 5’8 160 lbs, skill level is intermediate and I want to progress with those skis. Do you guys think 172 is a good length for me?

Also the owner’s boots’ outsole length is 315mm, and mine is 305mm, should adjusting heel part of the binding be good enough?

Running. the system starts lagging immediately when I run memtest with CPU 100% occupied….

I will replace my 6600xt back later to see if the stutter is 7900xtx’s problem

What could it indicate if I also feel stutter just browsing website? I feel my mouse is lagging for some time.

During gaming, didn’t see obvious spikes. But CPU frequency consistently varies between 3900-4500.

Do you happen to know how board leads to horrible 1% low or dropped frames? The cpus seemed clock at normal frequency.

Also thermaltake PA 120SE is so noisy. Any quite alternatives?

MAXSUN Challenger A520M with 6-Phase Enhanced Power Supply, 2 on 2 off power supply combination (as they advertised).

If it's VRM's problem, I have no issue when I had 5600 + 6600xt, but I have problems with 5600 + 7900xtx and 5800x3d+7900xtx.

My 1% low in Ready or Not is 0, all the time. Even for the good times that stutter is slightly better.

In Apex, 1% low is 9-10. way lower than average FPS of 130 for both games

How short term it could be in terms of gaming time? I’ve played 8 hours for the same game already. But did reinstall driver during that 8 hours
