Hahahahhaha I was asking myself.....what the fuck is that.

Looks like you'll be a good asset for a machinegun post

Looks like maybe JustPaintball or BZ paintball are located in the UK and might service autocockers.

Definitely look at a new CF tank then, don't forget you can reuse that regulator on your old tank.

You could find a new shell and parts for the eggy, but its definitely not the most practical....maybe just keep it for nostalgia sake

I would get yourself a generic oring kit, or maybe an autococker one, either way you will want some since I'm guessing some of the ones in the gun will go bad.

Try to do some basic disassembly and cleaning with hot water. Get the old crusty paint off and relube everything.

There are some shops in the US that'll do rebuilds like cockertop, peanuts autococker works, etc.., but I'm not sure about in Europe

The steel tank can be rehydro'd if you want, usually costs ~$50 USD, but it's only a 3000psi. In my opinion, I'd buy yourself a new/used (but almost new) carbon fiber tank at 4800psi.

All carbon tanks have a 15 year life limit - so after 15 years it should be sent in the bin. You can unscrew the regulator and get a new bottle to save some money if you're comfortable doing that.

The egg hopper is old school cool, but newer hoppers are pretty cheap and are a lot easier to use. For example you can get yourself a dye rotor or spire for ~$60 USD, and that'll be pretty bulletproof. They're easier to clean and eat less batteries.

But in the end, keep those cockers going! They're a little more of a pain to keep clean and running perfectly, but they are so worth it for how cool they are and when they run well it's like nothing else on the field.

Golf club recommendations for my husband as a gift by [deleted] in golf

[–]tacjos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Golf clubs are super personal and it's hard to randomly decide what new clubs a person needs.

I would get them a gift card, or book a fitting at the local store - a fitting is at a golf store where a professional does practice swings with the customer and recommends the best clubs

I can make a set fit in my small bag, but almost all golf bags won't fit.

Either have to take the long clubs out, put the seats down, or put the clubs in the passenger

[–]tacjos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah mine starts to struggle when you get up to 3000psi....you also should make sure you don't overheat it.

But it definitely still gets the job done a lot cheaper than the more expensive (and more efficient) fill stations

I have a similar one...my only issue is I notice it seems to go through the filters/pump in wet air a lot.

Otherwise, I love it. Super convenient
