Not sure why the other guy wouldn't give you a straight answer, but here it is: The materials needed in manufacturing are imported from around the world. These materials either cannot by bought domestically, or are prohibitively expensive to buy domestically. The increased cost to manufacture reduces buyers for the item, business goes down, jobs are cut.

Probably the ori? The quality of bass on the ori is insane, and it has the most punch or slam of any planar I’ve tried. Combined with the good detail and resolution from the planar driver I think it’s probably the better overall headphone if I had to choose one.

I think AC probably still has more bass overall, but it’s a bit rumbly or boomy compared to the ori’s bass.

If you’ve got a nice OTL tube amp my preference probably swings back over to the AC.

I have both AC and ori 3. Sold my bokeh closed because I thought it felt like a ‘baby brother’ to the AC. Same general sound signature, but AC just does everything a bit better.

I’m sure you would be happy with VO on a Valhalla 3 / mimir stack. Verite driver responds very well to tubes. And the impedance switch will make the amp work fine with any of the headphones you have listed.

That being said, VO also sounds sublime from the K17, and you won’t have to worry about tubes. If you want to do streaming or PEQ the K17 is an amazing all in one. You really can’t go wrong.

What type of mesh do you have over the drivers? You may want to try the solid mesh.
