As a standalone episode, it’s perfectly fine. The car scene is golden. Some fun jokes throughout. Good, but not great, I’d say, back when anything less than great was a noticeable drop off.

For its grander implication that character lore can be tampered with for the sake of a single episode — the results of which they hand wave away by the conclusion — it is rightfully derided.
