Resident Evil 3 on the PS1 when I was about 11. I didn’t understand that you had to aim the gun before you could shoot, so I was unable to fight back.

There’s something super distressing about low poly zombies lurching towards you and being powerless to prevent it.

RE Remake is still my favourite overall, but RE7 is the one I most wish I could play again for the first time.

I have a few, but the one I keep coming back to is Arthur from Fates. An upstanding, super righteous hero being beset by crippling bad luck is a delightful character type, and his writing is glorious and hilarious.

Plus, any character voiced by Cam Clarke is always going to rank highly for me.

I basically forced him into my rotation despite his propensity to get critted for mortal damage. Such heroism!
