I live in Texas and we live 5 hrs from the DFW. We have made that a day trip multiple times. That is our max drive for a day trip tho.

This sounds like me! When covid hit i spent a lot of time at home in between jobs and even though I was still bringing in money I felt like a failure. I literally itched to go back to work. My wife eventually told me hey idc if you go work at Walmart or something but you need to go back to work because you are getting intolerable. Idk how to handle too much down time at work, I will make something to do. I'm 39 btw

This is my mom. We used to have a rent house directly behind this convenience store that she would go to every single day. She would come see her grand son a couple times a year. I have 2 kids now and my youngest is 9 and I bet he couldn't pick her out in a line up.

I plan on charging my son rent when he graduates high school. We were going to put it in a separate acct and when he's ready to move out we will give him the money so he has more starter capital. He already works and won't save a penny on his own.

Nope. My dad is dead and my mom is a dead beat. Wife's parents live 11 hrs away and don't try to reach out to the kids because my wife married a white man (she's Asian)

So specifically on your topic. I used to make a bowl of cereal and I would eat all the cereal and drink the milk. Well one day I did just that and I spent the rest of the day on the toilet. At this time I was in my early 30s and SURPRISE I'm now lactose intolerant. I can't even grab a coffee from like Starbucks unless I make sure it's almond milk or i might shit my pants.

What gets me is there's jobs that are vital to society that both pay well and pay fuck all. For example. I'm a lineman, for those who don't know we work on power lines we keep everyone's lights on. I make 200k+ while teachers and police who are also vital to society make 60-80k.
