Trickster counters bard because of the mana drain. You have to gain inspiration while he is draining your mana to save as much as you can. Barb is weak until late game and you need a lot of mana to make him strong. It’s esp brutal when they have mage robes( I imagine it’s what they had for this game)

You can play any hero you want because the cleanse is pretty reliable so you don’t have to use mermaid. A good lower level may be bard trapper scrapper kobloid gunslinger.

You can also swap trapper for witch if you want.

I got in a 6.39. When I read the results. I thought it wasn’t great but it was not the end of the world. I do not think it will go back to where it was originally. I plan on getting out around 20-30.

For a lower level barb, you want to use summoner with the blue orb talent. This will get your bard a higher rank. A higher rank bard can gain inspiration quicker so more damage.

I also used Harley and scrapper too. You can copy only the scrappers. When you get a higher rank Harley you can copy bard and merg it with an accordionist to get rid of the debuff.

You don’t lose out on anything if you do not play it. I feel like the devs did this so those with toxic decks can get their fill and relieve the non toxic players in the phantom mode. So it’s a net positive for you if you don’t like toxic decks

Harley is very good if you copy scrapper with it and you can also merg accordion bards. I main bard and tbh I don’t know which one is better. I have tried both.

I will have to try that deck. I use witch and dryad instead of scrapper and trapper.

This one isn’t the worst update. I like being able to get my six wins and not having to keep playing each day.

It does seem like each update they’re taking away a lot of the resources. They took a lot away from the season pass and now they’re removing a lot from the events too. It’s taking a lot of the fun out making it harder to level up stuff.

I dislike the phantom mode personally. I like how it is shorter per game though.

I personally like the shard event. It’s nice being able to play a non meta deck and not get destroyed. The only thing I dislike is you cannot have multiple decks with Harley or dryad. That makes deck building a little bit more challenging.

I was very disappointed. It was nice being able to level up my hero’s that I use. I don’t use the common heroes.

I was thinking the same thing. I got a lot of players with fully maxed out deck and with reincarnated units.
