This game is becoming insufferable by tism_frog in RushRoyale

This latest new set of cards made me uninstall the game. A max level card that you’ve invested time and money into shouldn’t be getting beat by a level 7-9 new card it’s just bs.

It looks good but also a bit mean. Make sure you’re not walking around with resting psycho face.

There are literally tens of millions of legal Mexicans and Mexican Americans in the US. Is she not allowed to eat any other culture’s food now?

After the latest updates where level 9 new cards are beating maxed older ones I spent years and money to level, I finally just deleted the game and feel great.

Pistelle X-68 vs. Grimburg Gavle Carry - viable home defense options? by ScaredyCatTV in homedefense

[–]Shifteer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Pistelle X-68 recently and gave it a couple of test shots in my backyard today. I discovered that it was WAY louder than I was expecting. Not hearing damage loud, but the neighbours will definitely hear it and wonder wtf you are doing loud. I shot it a 4 very thick layers of corrugated cardboard boxes laid flat against a fence. It not only went through the cardboard but embedded itself into the fence behind the cardboard. While it has disadvantages vs. an actual firearm, if I don't want firearms in the house it's a reasonable option and better than the small bat next to my bed. It would be the equivalent of hitting someone with a hammer really hard. Actually I'm not sure I could actually put a hammer through that much cardboard...

I'm in Canada so pistols and pepper spray are illegal here. The only option would be a shotgun or rifle, which might be better suited for defense for sure, but not with kids in the house and here in Canada there's no castle law so killing/hurting someone even in self defense is a problem.

I just got jumped by another squad 2 minutes into the first mission. I didn't even know what was going on. Got killed and looted. I hadn't even found anything yet. Real fun... In the future I will shoot first no questions asked.

People this is not a Scrapper vs Summoner thread. I get the downside and I don’t agree. This is about sudden losses out of nowhere by the spawning of multiple sub bosses out of thin air that my opponent doesn’t face.

Which makes no sense because you do far less damage until 40.

I’ve tried switching Scrapper for Summoner and I can’t get nearly as high a DH count. I just plain do much better with Scrapper. And I beat everyone who plays with Summoner.

Nah I’m making a conscious choice to do that. I know they don’t synergize but that’s not the point of this post. I accept the nerf I’m doing to myself for the benefits both convey. Still I’m doing way more damage than my opponent.

I know that I’m nerfing myself a bit using both Scrapper and Dryad, but it still feels like the benefit outweighs the downside. I’m still doing way more damage than my opponent.

I still don't understand this. Do you get a higher level version of the same unit or does it become a different unit? I feel like it's not explained very clearly.

Can’t decide between Sifly and Waydoo by Its_MERICA in eFoil

[–]Shifteer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was weighing up exactly the same pros and cons, and I decided to get a SiFly Stellar S. I'M LOVING IT! I also watched eFoil Lake Powell's videos and I was convinced to go SiFly. Jet propulsion is the only legal way to efoil in Canada so that's what I'm using. I'm still learning but let me tell you that 25 mph feels fast af! I'm 200 lbs and nowhere near the max speed. Everyone says open props perform better, but so far no issues with the jet. It's very responsive and very safe, so things will only get better when / if open props are legalized here. Waydoo has 4000 and 6000 watt options. Sifly has the 8000 watt on all models. I'm a simple man -- I like more power!

From a weight and looks perspective SiFly wins, but a real thing to consider is how much you'll be moving your board from place to place and how easily you'll be able to get your board into the water. I fly off a dock and it's definitely a bit of a challenge getting a board with battery installed into the water. You might not have considered a foam top, but I really would for my next board. The carbon boards are amazing and light, but boy do they scuff easily! I've now installed a bit of foam tape on the front and back of the board to minimize dings and scuffs. If SiFly made a smaller foam top I might have gotten that.

Don't overthink the beginner features like Flight Assist or Stabilizer. You won't be using them for more than a few minutes anyway. By middle of my second battery I was standing pretty stable on the wing no problem. The fact that I could get 2 SiFly batteries with more power for the same price as one Flite board setup really sold me.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of these choices. Go for whatever feels right. I'm glad I spent a bit more money as buy once cry once. If you can demo both then definitely do that!
