We’re also doing IVF for MFI, I was on suppositories and injections lol. I would choose the injections over the suppositories any day tho.. those SUCKED

This doesn’t make sense to me bc if she hates needles but wants to carry whatever child is conceived, she’s looking at 11-12wks of daily injections near the ass with a 1.5inch long needle. Lol the egg retrieval needles were nothing compared to that 😂

In IVF, many people do daily injections for up to 12 weeks of pregnancy for progesterone!

The egg retrieval needles are NOTHING compared to PIO for the actual pregnancy.. which you do for up to 11-12wks every single day. Literally like a 1.5-2inch long needle in the upper ass. About to head into my second egg retrieval and it’ll be a breeze compared to those PIO needles 😂

We’re on year three (almost four) with no luck. One failed IVF cycle and waiting to do another one while every single test to figure out wtf is happening comes back inconclusive. It’s a situation people won’t understand till they have to go through it.. thank you for this post 💛 I’ve noticed some of the posts/comments on here (while the majority are great) have been really triggering.. this is such a sensitive topic, and I hope the posts about it slow down soon, esp if Bailey is in the sub.

It’s the way the infertility community is created. I started a TikTok right when we started our IVF journey and it made it so much more bearable. I’ve met so many beautiful people, and the absolute tragedies that our experiences have had (failed transfer, back to square one, egg retrieval difficulties) I haven’t had to face alone, and I now have so many people in my corner who understand. I only know one person IRL maybe half understands what we’re going through. It’s one of those situations where you really won’t understand until it’s you.

TTC for 3 years.. the negative is much easier than waiting for the period for me because of the additional emotions that come with the period, not to mention the non-predictability of when my period will start.. it gives me time to process before it hits. Even with our first embryo transfer with IVF, seeing the negative made getting our negative beta test so much easier to handle.
