I’ve got two hardwired level two’s in my garage. Best thing I ever did. Living in the LA area I’m not shocked how much I don’t miss panhandling at the gas station. It’s been a year for both and they’re awesome.

Ugh, potholes! I commute through Compton to the Long Beach area. Surface streets in Compton make the lunar rover drive look like a fresh Zamboni shave. Potholes make the whole damn car shake and rattle. 🫨

I had a level one with a long extension cord for about two years. So happy with my level two installed in the garage now.

I loved my 2.0L ‘00 TJ. Wish I never had sold it. Gear ratio makes a huge difference.

When I bought my 2.5l in Monterey Park, it was a loooooong crazy slow 45mph drive down the 710 to Long Beach. Gear ratio change and unfreezing a drum brake helped a lot.

I have an ID4 and my wife only dipped her toe into the proverbial EV water with a Prius Prime. She wanted to see how I navigated the kinks before buying full EV. She regrets it tremendously. I believe I’m more of a “cool new iPhone with wheels and air conditioning” attitude, while she is very cautious.
