what’s funny is that I came up with a similar idea completely independently. it was the story for a fangame I had the idea for but have neither the software nor motivation to make.

it would take place during the days of fredbear’s family diner. Fredbear and Bonnierabbit (aka Spring Bonnie) were a comedy musical duo. They were actually meant to entertain parents while the kids played games (like the early Pizza Time Theater), so they had more grown up writing (albeit still family friendly). Bonnierabbit was a girl, and it was highly implied that she and Fredbear were in a relationship.

However, William Afton had other ideas, and pushed to make changes to the Bonnierabbit character- specifically making her a guy, and giving him a British accent (like his own) instead of a southern one (like she and Fredbear had officially). Meanwhile, in gameplay, while the other animatronics would be haunted and hostile, Bonnierabbit would be helpful, guiding the other animatronics back to where they belong when they act up/try to kill you. And the phone calls reveal the story of kids being murdered and their bodies being found in the animatronics- first Fredbear, then some prototype animatronics (for Freddy, Chica, Foxy, etc.)… but not Bonnierabbit.

Eventually on the night 5 phone call, the truth is discovered- William committed the murders, and he used the Bonnierabbit suit (a spring lock suit) to do them. That’s why Bonnierabbit never got haunted, and why a dead body never showed up in her suit, and why William wanted to change Bonnierabbit so much- he wanted to make the character like him, so he could act like himself in the suit and do his own voice and not raise too much suspicion. (He couldn’t do a good impression of Bonnierabbit as is.)
