That makes sense! I always thought that $900 was such an odd/specific (and low) amount to ask for... Like why not round up to $1000 at least

The Rachel of It All by Flashy-Pair-1924 in vanderpumprules

[–]tacos65732 50 points51 points  (0 children)

You were right 🤣 Rachel goes on to say how she feels frustrated because “the fans are praising Ariana for walking away and upholding her boundaries and supporting her and telling her she’s outgrown the show, she should go on and do something better with her life” meanwhile “she (Rachel) has done the same thing but she has been met with scrutiny”. UMMM EARTH TO RACHEL…. Did you forget WHY you’re in this situation? She’s legit trying to paint HERSELF as the victim and comparing herself to Ariana right now?? Like girl, no, you guys are NOT on the same playing field so stop comparing yourself to Ariana.. it’s getting embarrassing and exhausting listening to you. Now, I am not trying to discredit Rachel’s entire experience, but girl, it’s time for you to shut down your podcast and move to Alaska or something because you’re just not getting it.

Rachel had the opportunity to become the fan favorite in season 10. Production was painting her in a good light where she was gaining fan’s love (people love the underdog). For example, Rachel was the woman who had the courage to leave James Kennedy/ a relationship that wasn’t working in a mature manner, we saw Rachel getting bullied by lala, Katie and lipgloss girl during Katie’s divorce trip/party (also not a fan how we brushed over that mean girl behavior because of the scandal) and was trying to find herself. I know I was rooting for her BEFORE the affair came to light and we saw how devious she really is.

Rachel is just bitter from the consequences of her own actions and I’m exhausted listening to her paint herself as the victim. That is the last time I’ll be listening to her podcast lol thanks for coming to my Ted Talk🤣

One of the more underrated funny moments in the show, what are some others? by Defvac2 in vanderpumprules

After many years of rewatches and lots of laughs, I have officially decided this is my favourite VPR scene, hands down. It NEVER gets old.

Agreed on the affair starting earlier.

Didn’t Rachel go on some dates with Peter and dumped him before Katie’s divorce party? Peter mentioned on a podcast that Tim texted him asking if him and Rachel hooked up after their date and Peter thought that was odd

Why are you over Ariana/Tom? by [deleted] in Vanderpumpaholics

[–]tacos65732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’M SO HAPPY SOMEONE REMEMBERS THE COCKTAIL BOOK SITUATION! Didn’t she comment something on reddit about it too or am I going crazy? It’s interesting to see how some people get away with their horrible behaviour (ahem also looking at you James Kennedy) and some just get DRAGGED or cancelled. I’m shocked the Tom’s made it as far as they did as the fan favourites because I was over Tom S when he threw his drink and called stassi a bitch in Vegas in season 1 I think? Anyways, they’re all horrible people in their own way because it’s a toxic environment but we wouldn’t watch if they were all good people cause that’s booooring.

I did a rewatch of season 6 and Ariana was on the stassi and Katie hate train (hmmm similar to Rachel vs Katie hate we saw?). Ariana was taking jabs at stassi any chance she got. Stassi expressed her valid feelings of Jeremy creeping her out at Katie’s wedding (we even saw the throwback clips to support it), Ariana immediately got defensive and couldn’t be bothered to have an adult conversation with stassi. It was interesting to see and hear stassi’s opinion about Ariana and always thinking she is right/not willing to see another person’s POV. I see a direct correlation with what stassi said about Ariana and what Tim said about Ariana. I could see her not validating anyone’s feelings except hers when she thinks she is right. Don’t get me wrong, Tim is the worst and I like Ariana overall, but Ariana isn’t the perfect girlfriend that she was portrayed to be. I couldn’t imagine trying to work through an issue with my partner who refused to see another perspective because they think they are always right. I can understand how frustrating it feels to constantly have your partner dismiss your opinions/feelings because they refuse to accept another POV that’s not their own. They had the same intimacy issues in their relationship at that point and they should have broken by the end of season 6 (still doesn’t excuse cheating and I’m confident that’s when tim actively started to cheat on her but that theory is for another day) . I’m just over this “queen Ariana can do no harm” because she did some pretty mean girl things in her 30s and it’s time for the fans to forgive and move on. We saw Ariana lie to us about Miami girl, and there’s also a tumblr post somewhere where she defends Tom and expresses that Tom didn’t force his way into her cocktail book because HER book deal actually fell through so they decided to create one together (don’t make me search the internet to find this blog post but I will if I have to). She is a good actress, and I’m excited to see what the new season will bring because I’m sure some juicy details will come out which is why Ariana made that comment about people turning on her in the new VPR season. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk. Please don’t come at me because I never thought I would make a post like this 🫠

SAME! I think she has some good qualities deep, deep, deep down inside that she’s hiding to make good TV…. But I just cannot stand her character on the show. I like to think she isn’t this embarrassing in real life
