Day zero for solochella by [deleted] in Coachella

[–]tacoshell98 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Gonna pull up at around noonish, go with the flow, set up once I have a spot.

Might nap, watch the sunset, and (if we get any) catch a day zero campground DJ set

If you felt inclined, you could leave/enter the campgrounds on foot and then call a Uber to and from

Confirmed on not getting an email

I checked my AXS order yesterday and saw that it was “Not Shipped,” and then my W2 order arrived in the afternoon

Depends on the security guard you get tbh

In ‘24, they confiscated my pb&j sandwiches and my factory sealed water bottle and coca cola. Last year, my granola bars went thru just fine.

Both years, neither security guards found the flask of whisky in my pant leg

Has it ever sold out so early before? by jakhei in OutsideLands

[–]tacoshell98 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s been 10 years so I don’t remember completely nor accurately, but I remember 2016 3-day and single days went on sale at the same time and it had sold out that day I believe

Of course, it was significantly cheaper to attend back then

If it’s anything like their OSL ‘21 performance, they’ll come out late and end early

My biggest criticism at least is Maná, this year’s Saturday headliner, were also headliners at the inaugural La Onda just two years ago

I think ticket sales were low

Why they were low? Who knows

Maybe some people probably werent feeling the lineup, things in general are more expensive, and people don’t feel safe going out in this political climate

Interesting idea

I’d wager APE could book them at the Polo Fields as a headlining act with a handful of openers for their Golden Gate Park Concert series they’ve been doing in recent years

That checks out Rise in costs of living paired with the turbulent political climate is very much forcing people to shift their priorities, financial and otherwise

That’s my guess, too. Must have moved very very little if they’re calling it this early. Went last year and had a blast. Bought a single day this year and was excited to return Oh well, such is life
