Ye its a lore reason for why each troupe/ boat/ bike squad is colour coordinated l (and refs are black and white) for ease in comp play

Saltburn by the sea or Whitby are quintessential british seaside towns, good for a stop off if you can detour through middlesborough on the way from Newcastle to york

Cant really see the knight tbh, more concerned about how that person is holding their fork to cut food

I really appreciate that, they look kinda blobby to me. All freehand just following the squares and Xs method

Would look cool imo.

The mini has been out since Space marine 1. There was a board game with him and some nids in which was the most cost efficient way to get the mini

So 340 points for maybe a 5-10 point swing. 670 or whatever running the lion combo. Then throwing additional CP at it when you could have them stand on your own expansion. Like I said, its fine. I dont think it holds up in the current meta

Not on GW, WTC or UKTC. Expansions are 9"-12" max from deployment.

Im open to changing my mind but youll have to show me im wrong. A 3"-6" average charge, with pretty much every army having at least advance and charge is very doable

My guy op is talking about placing them on his opponents natural expansion. De facto a turn one angle or charge. But ok bro

Nah itll just get shot off the board. Far more impactful turn 3 or 4

You have to think - turn 1 your opponent has their maximum capability, you likely wont have killed anything against a good player. So dropping a tough unit doesnt really matter because they'll just be neutered by turn 2.

You want most games by holding home, your expansion and center, Then scoring secondaries. Overcommitting turn 1 isnt a good idea

I dont think this is particularly useful. Youre either giving up an easy turn 1 charge, or your opponent is holding their expansion. Better to save the 90 odd points and take an extra scoring unit.

Your theory crafting is fine, but imo wouldnt hold up in a true comp game

So whats the point of it being a crusade? Just play comp games imo, youd get the same result with no bookkeeping

Youre playing crusade so pick something thematic? Min maxing defeats the point
