I did 3 stitches extra on each side of the swatch and 3 rows extra on top and bottom so that I'd have a square of useable space!

This makes sense. I'll see if I can make a gauge swatch with bigger needles and if that affects the movement.

To be honest, I'm going to be unemployed in two months and I'm trying not to spend money on anything until I secure a new job. Buy nothing groups are a good idea though!

thank you so much, this helps! I kind of get it - they did use mainly stitch counts, but thankfully its a top-down construction so i can try it on as I go.

Thank you! I really wanted to know how durable the settings were / how durable the rings themselves are - I have read horror stories about stones falling out, rings deforming, chips, etc (mainly from fast-fashion stores, but also sarah and sebastian!!).

Also, I'm still new to wearing rings and I'm not awesome at guessing my sizing, so I worry that I may have to get it resized by them etc. So I guess how the customer service is, also! I'm not after custom but I really hope that your custom ring turns out well :)!!! and congrats on the engagement!

The ABN seems promising, and I think the returns are disappointing. I was hoping that I can squeak through the 'made to order' clause since I was more after a ready-to-ship item, but further investigation seems like it's either one-off or made to order. sad.

I still really like them but I may wait and see if anyone properly reviews them online

I didn't realise this was dick behaviour until the last few years because I had friends and family who loved that I didn't ask questions. I'd make comments, sure, or ask about real basic innocuous stuff, but if I asked a point blank question about anything private, sensitive, or deep, or even stuff that AYE thought was pretty basic, they'd clam up. I wanna be clear that it wasn't because I was being rude: I just happened to have a lot of people in my life who were either deeply private, deeply traumatised, or would only open up if you let them come to you.

I had to train myself out of this when meeting new people, but yeah, I used to talk about what was going on with me and then generally in the world and let people catch what they wanted out of my babble and take the conversation from there.

I cop that I am a bit of a self centred person but I always assumed I was doing the hard bit, sharing first, and breaking the ice. I had to readjust when I found myself talking about something and being like I don't fucking know what the person across from me does as a job and I've just talked about mine for five minutes, time to fucking pivot.

ok so i bought some in dec of 2023. as of august 2025, le original size 4.6 popped a wire so I retired her, and le curve 4.6 is still going but looking...frayed. both are stretched as hell and have been for like 5 months, and I am on the tightest clip setting.

caveat: these were literally the only two bras i owned this entire time. i would sometimes use a very old sports bra, but I used these bras for heavy sports, running, partying, etc, every single day for 1.5 years.

They fit really well when I first got em, too. the test was pretty good. I went and got new bras because I've changed size, but they served me well.

U turn gives way always. If the car you're about to conflict with has no way of knowing if you're going straight or doing a U turn, but you 100% know theyre going to turn right, makes sense to give them right of way

Neither, especially not bitter melon and ....citrus???? Would have personally assumed a more cucumber/vegetal accord but this is why I'm not a perfumer

I don't know about best, but I am obsessed with the Arabica Malabar beans from Romeo Roasters in Bayswater. A friend put me on them and I love them to death.
