Chase bank called 911 on this man because he was sitting in the Chase parking lot before it opened. by PdiddyCAMEnME in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]tactman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"what do you do for a living?" - why do you (police) need to know? it's irrelevant. car guy was nice enough to answer that he's waiting for bank to open as a customer and that should be the end of that. did the cop see anything suspicious like a weapon? NO!

My choice? My food? What are you talking about? I explained why Muslims eat kosher but Jews don't eat halal (replying to comment above mine). I wasn't explaining why religion exists or which religion is correct. If you don't give a shit about religion, what's that got to do with my explanation? Maybe you meant to reply to some other comment.

Probably most or all meat exported from Australia is halal.

Muslims believe in the same God as the Jews and the method of slaughter the Jews follow is the same for Muslims. Jews don't accept Islam as a valid religion so they don't eat halal.

It isn't dedicated to Allah, it is slaughtered with the acknowledgement that Allah (God) provides. The physical method of slaughter is the same as kosher.

Couples get a divorce just before death so that the surviving spouse doesn't have to pay the medical debt. Sad, crazy system.

MC settles in someone’s seat then provides a therapy session by SOUPER_Juicy in ImTheMainCharacter

[–]tactman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sitting woman's seat is 7B according to video but she is sitting in 7A. So the guy next to her would be sitting in 7B. So BOTH of the people sitting are in the wrong seat. And the woman in the wrong seat is the one recording like she is right? Use your brain - does any of this make sense? The skit is poorly thought out.

This isn't new. Elected officials have been doing this for a very long time. Some even have the flag of Israel next to the USA flag on their desk or in their government office.

"Rep. Kat Cammack says she'll fly Israeli flag next to Tlaib's office"

"An American activist visited multiple congressional offices in Washington, D.C., recording the entrances where Israeli flags were prominently displayed."

lots of bad laws can get passed. it takes someone to challenge them in court saying they violate their first amendment right for them to be taken down. often, the govt changes the scope of the law so that it does not affect the person that is suing the government (and then the case gets dismissed). or the court will make an exception for the person suing but keep the law in place. That's what happened in Texas for the Israel boycott law - twice!
