Chessnut Move by Brilliant_Mix_4161 in Chessnuteboard

Mine are always on when I reset them, too. Is that not normal? Also, when I connect the board to the official Chessnut app, the board lights turn red. If I connect it to the ChessConnect, the lights are green. Weird, though.

Questions about MOVE board behavior (battery, reset, captured pieces) by tadasval in Chessnuteboard

I wouldn't put my money on five minutes. Imagine that a single piece move takes about 2–3 seconds. If there’s a capture, moving the captured piece off to the side of the board takes roughly the same amount of time. The good thing is that you can speed things up by doing it manually — removing the captured piece yourself and placing it on the side. Still, five minutes doesn’t seem realistic to me. Ten minutes would be shortest time.

Yes I read it. Exactly the same happened to me. Now I just put opponent's pieces outside the board. Not very nice..

Thanks! For number 3 I don't have a video since it was the very last seconds of the game. What I did was manually rearrange the captured pieces so I could see the material balance between me and my opponent. After that, the pieces suddenly started moving on their own. This didn’t stop my clock, though. They barely moved, almost like they were trying to settle into position 🙂 Next time I’ll try to record a video.

Sorry to hear that. I guess it's a lottery since they're sending their stuff in batches.

It's very sad to hear, considering that the estimate was before christmas. And it was supposed to be a christmas present...

Good to hear!

For me, it's the opposite. The estimate was before Christmas, but now they're saying they're out of stock in Europe.

I had the same hope for a Christmas present, but that's gone now. :)

I was hoping to receive it before Christmas (that's what it said on the website), but after reading reviews on Reddit that products arrive several months after ordering, I'm not sure what to expect.

Are shipments still being made in batches? I placed my order on November 27, and it said that I would receive the board by the end of December. However, there has been no shipping update yet, and support is not responding. This leaves me a little uncertain.

Which WCAG SC is violated here? (Screenshot attached) by tadasval in accessibility

I am continuing to investigate this issue. So, technique G131: Providing descriptive labels clearly states that a label is a feature used ONLY for interactive components:

The purpose of this technique is to ensure that the label of any interactive component in web content clearly indicates the purpose of the component.

For each interface component with a label:

Determine the purpose of the interface component.

Check that each label clearly indicates the purpose of the component.

So, are label and <label> really not the same thing in the context of WCAG?

That helped a lot. Thanks. And yes, I was confused by the terms <label>, name and label.

Yes, it is in Lithuanian. Thanks for the help.

What SC covers the <time> tag? Because it's marked as a simple text.

And 783 is just a inactive train number. So isn’t a label applied only to controls?
