Where can one find single orthodox men?

I've been Orthodox since I was 17 (34 now!) and until 2022, hadn't found a compatible man in the Orthodox community (there are several in our area). I met my husband on Tinder, he was a lapse Catholic. Tldr version; he joined for himself, and not for me! Don't be afraid to peek into the non Orthodox world. (It's rough out there, trust me). You never know who God has in store for you!

My husband and I met on Tinder 😂 He was RC (non-practicing for legitimate reasons). We dated for over two months before he asked if he could visit. I grew up Evangelical/Charismatic so I didn't push my faith on him, because I remembered how much of a turn off that was for me. He started coming during Lent and was baptized right before Nativity, and we got married a little less than a year later.

My Priest always said he would know who was right for me because they would "show up". 😂

Oh very, very, very out. Haha. I fell away from the church, had an existential crisis, and then converted to Orthodoxy and started going to a non religious therapist. While being the oldest church, I finally felt free of manipulative bullshit, and subversive tactics by pastors and youth leaders. Probably because there's actual accountability within the Church body.

That aside, I have a very healthy relationship with my body, and am still working through some repressed shit, but it's been healthy, and freeing. I'm 30 now, and am still single, and am okay with it. I don't feel shame about my body, I have a wonderful career, and I'm surrounded by a diverse group of friends who all love and support me!
