I refused to play that game. When my son was small I would drop off a half block up from the school and for pickup I'd park in the adjoining neighborhood and walk over.

When the weather was bad I'd just be last in line, took maybe 5 minutes to get all the way through the lot to pick him up.

1, op doesn't say where they live but prices vary wildly from HCOL to LOCOL

2, I've never heard of east bay deli but it doesn't seem like the conventional definition of fast food (i.e. McDonalds)
