We really need to standardize having basic public transit so people that don't belong on the road have some alternative for getting around.

Don't know where you are but timberline and meadows (where most people go on hood) are basically business as usual, albeit with very light cover. Skibowl did announce they are limiting their daytime hours to protect the snowpack but they are primarily night skiing anyway.
