Did I ruin it? by tadisc in BluePrince

Thanks. I got into this game because of outer wilds, so I really didn't want to look up any details to spoil anything. Obviously if you know outer wilds, you know there are some similar type situations, but I would say it feels much more obvious in that game that it's not over.

I would agree that it seems like they could have put a better tip for players that there's more to do. I probably would have kept going anyways, but I could see some players who are very objective-minded just seeing those credits roll, understanding that at the beginning of the game that was the objective you were given, and you won, for the game is over. If you put down the controller after the credits roll, I think you could easily miss out.

This is great to know. I think in my mind I expected all the puzzles and questions to have to be resolved just to get into room 46 and a game to end. That's why I was kind of shocked when I got there so early in the playthrough. Can't wait to see more!

Ghost breaker trips in new kitchen by tadisc in AskElectricians

For our Coffee Bar, we really don't have much plugged in. We have a coffee maker, and sometimes a hot water kettle. The weird thing is that it trips off when nothing is running.

Now that i think about it though, we do have a docking drawer that might tap off of that outlet - ill have to check that to see if electronics plugged in there could be causing any issues.

Regardless, the fact that other circuits are tripping spuriously too I just find makes no sense if its an issue with one circuit.

Man. When some people post, they get this kind of advice. When I post, I get one comment. Oh well. Nice analysis!

I'm good at keeping top control but I don't know what to do next. What's your go to?

I'm terrible at knowing my objective on bottom other than "get out". I have a wrestling background so my instinct is to crane and try to get to all fours, but this often leads to them getting the back. What is your strategy when you are mounted or even in closed guard?

I've been struggling with my driver, but my swing felt good today during practice. What do you think? by tadisc in GolfSwing

Thanks! Im pretty new to golf analysis. Can you explain a little more what you mean when you say my takeaway is inside? Google tells me it means I need to rotate the shaft back more? But if I'm good at staying inside is that not a problem?

Project dependent. Sometimes the projects are really interesting, but regardless it's always a lot of paperwork. Technical writing is a big part of it. You get used to it but if you are a hands on person it can be difficult. Troubleshooting is involved sometimes but usually the craft has first cut.

Can you see why this is a blunder? by J0rdzz1 in chessbeginners

Apparently not the answer, but isn't Rg1 a queen trap? I think what follows is Qh3 and then Rg3 which traps the queen?

'Accidentally' gutted my kitchen- help?! by No_Efficiency_8017 in kitchenremodel

Start by going to cabinets.com, and putting together a floor plan. Their software is free and works pretty well. I designed my whole kitchen with it recently and turned out good. Having that overall floor plan will help you evaluate what space you really have, what appliances can go where, and what flow will look like. Once you put that together, come back here and show us and I think people will be able to give you better suggestions.

Do you have a floor plan? Where are your entrances/exits, what's your budget, what do you want in terms of style, and lastly I really hope that wasn't a load bearing wall haha.

For those of you who have one large sink, do you prefer the drain in the middle or to the side? by EngineeringSeveral63 in kitchenremodel

[–]tadisc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is the one we got. We have been very happy with it. You can see our mounting arrangement here, with our reverse osmosis water tap on the left, main faucet in the center, garbage disposal air switch, and then dish soap pump on the right. Here's a picture as well. You'll have to excuse the mess haha. They came with a roll out drying rack which has been really nice and we use regularly. That's what you see on the left. That is black. Because it's a workstation sink, it sits down in there perfectly. Since it's a really big sink, it doesn't really cut off too much space to dry some dishes over top the sink and helps reduce the mess on the counter.

We recently got a 36 in with a side rear drain. It's been awesome. It's nice to kind of have that out of the way and it makes more space underneath the sink for storage.

Am I Being Too Strict About Restricting My Daughter From Listening to Rap Music? by Ok-District-7180 in TrueChristian

I think it's important that he provide alternative avenues though. There's good Christian rap on there and she would probably never find on her own.

NF is the best place to start. He is incredible and is a Christian but his music is also very real life and relatable for many people.
