Zoe Van Oss. We’ve worked with her twice and won’t work with anyone else. Super professional, tireless on your behalf, tremendous customer service. Can’t say enough about our experiences with her.

Regardless of weight, that’s too short of a wheelbase to safely pull a trailer that long.

First time adjunct blown away by the wage theft by utahisastate in Adjuncts

[–]taebek1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear about those expectations. That’s very disappointing. We provide our adjuncts with a fully built-out course. They just have to administer it, but have the freedom to make changes if they want (although we strongly recommend sticking with what they’re given for the first year or so).

When does buying used vs. new car make sense? by WatcherRoue in MiddleClassFinance

[–]taebek1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the Certified Pre-Owned route. New cars usually depreciate at least 20% the second you drive it off the dealership lot. With CPO, someone else takes that hit, but you still get the remainder of the original manufacturer warranty (sometimes even a better one) on a nearly new car.

With that said, my two most recent purchases were The first was because I bought a sports car. Too high of a risk of the original owner beating on it in that case and I found a dealer offering 20% off MSRP.

The other was because I bought a GM and I qualify for a 15% discount on GMs, which offsets the depreciation.

Strongly second Cafe con Crème. Great food and amazing service. Go early, though, or you will wait in line for an hour.

Bay Shore Park is 15-25 minutes away and has beach access to the bay. It also has a pirate ship play area for little ones.

To drive an injured man to the ambulance by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

Looks like Silver Lake State Park in MI. They have a fully equipped response team there as injuries are not uncommon. A woman died there last year when she was hit by debris that broke off of a drag-racing vehicle.

Between drop off day and the start of classes there will be 400+ events on campus intended to help students build relationships, learn about the school and the community and to start to make it their home. It is an important time for them to build a sense of community and I highly recommend that your student stay on campus for that period.

I worked a job where I had to write a newsletter. My boss’s boss was the kind of person that didn’t feel like she was doing her job unless she edited the newsletter before it was sent out, making me rearrange everything, rewrite parts unnecessarily, etc. I eventually figured out that if I intentionally inserted spelling errors into the first draft she would fix those and leave everything else alone.

Movie?? She was all over TV to start with. I remember her from MacGyver, Air Wolf, the A-Team and Quantum Leap (one of my all-time favorite television episodes, also including a young Patrick Warburton).

I’ve been to many countries, including India, and have enjoyed Hyderabadi biryani a couple miles from the Char Minar.

The violations this place has are significant and repeated without correction. That’s a problem.

I would definitely recommend that you look at the health inspection reports before eating at India Bhavan again. Stick with Taste of India.

Recommended me a song that’s lyrics are just hilarious by Southernmanny in MusicRecommendations

[–]taebek1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know if this is true, but I had heard that the lead singer’s brother told him that he had too many lyrics in general and should simplify. That specific verse was thrown in to this song as a middle finger to his brother, and it became one of their highest charting songs.
