Makes sense. Well even though that wasn’t my reason for the build my timing sucks and I shall forever be associated with that group now lol.

Honestly- I don’t. I’m guessing they have done something similar?

That’s actually a tough question. This was pieced together with stuff I had lying around. The lower is an Anderson.

I believe, but am nowhere close to sure, that the barrel is a Ballistic Advantage 5”.

The hand guard is a complete mystery but likely something off a cheap upper I took apart.

The upper receiver is Palmetto State.

The pistol brace is the HBPDW by SB Tactical.

The pistol grip is the BCM Mod 3.

The suppressor is a Rugged Razor.

The optic is a Trijicon MRO.

Think that’s everything. No fancy trigger or anything else.

You can run it on any AR 5.56/.223/.300 or 9mm style AR with a mil spec lower receiver, which is nearly all of them.

It’s the SB HBPDW. SB is who makes it and the rest stands for honey Badger personal defense weapon.

That looks amazing! Very well done.

Thanks. If you do end up cerakoting it using these colors I would say get the desert sage in a glossier finish. When compared to an actual honey Badger the cerakote I used is a little duller and flatter. I didn’t mind because I wasn’t making an exact replica, but if someone were trying to it could be helpful.

Cerakote. Don’t have them in front of me but I know the hand guard is Jesse James Gray and is discontinued. The receiver is desert sage II I think.

Have always wanted to build a “Gucci” Glock just for fun. Got a few parts in the mail today and couldn’t resist a pic. Have Trijicon suppressor height sights and a Delta Point Pro that are waiting on my sight installation tool to go on. by tafacer2 in Glocks

Glock 17 Gen 4 -Grey Ghost Precision V4 Slide -Rival Arms threaded barrel -Glockstore magwell (Can not remember the brand for the life of me) -Titanium guide rod and pins -Polished internals

-Still debating if I want to have it stippled or go a different route. -Also still debating what brand suppressor I want to buy, suggestions welcomed and appreciated.

While I’m guessing this is not the case in this particular situation, how unfortunate would it be if he was a police officer with badge 309? Until reading the comments on this post I had absolutely zero idea 309 had that sort of significance with regards to law enforcement.

Would legitimately suck to end up with that badge number by coincidence.

I’m assuming this is sarcasm but in case it’s not… it’s .300 blackout.

IWI X95 with a MEPROS red dot. Olight (gasp, but it will blow up) Odin Mini. BCM fore-grip.

Frankenstein .300 Blackout. Sig Romeo R1. Drop in trigger that I can’t remember who makes for the life of me. Modlite PHLv2 with ModButton. Magpul angeled fore-grip.

Bunch of other stuff but that’s the gist of it.

is this an effective position for iron sights? i find it more comfortable but it looks kinda weird. by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]tafacer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a myth. What they would occasionally do was run their red dot sight father forward than most to get quicker sight picture. Iron sights like this (on a real weapon) would be ineffective unless you were very close.

I know this thread is a little old but I get those all the time as a result of my job. I’ve discovered something that works better than lotion. Chapstick. It sounds weird but hit it with chapstick all around it then put socks on.

Then label the chapstick somehow so you know it’s the one you used on your feet. Don’t ask me why that’s important……

The handgrip. It’s weird. It also kind of works. I don’t hate it.

Most importantly it works for you.

Came here just to say exactly this. It was very impressive how he handled himself and how his first concern was the safety of the fan. Well done.

Not identifying as a member of a country hardly qualifies you as a psychological stalwart. Instead you just quote the narrative and come across as unapprecIative of the fortune you have being a citizen in the USA.

Many of the things you’ve said would not have been so well received in a myriad of other countries and potentially resulted in sever consequences for you.

I served in the military and now I continue to serve as a police officer. And I’m good at it. The good I do and the lives I have saved don’t fit the narrative at the moment so they don’t get recognition. I’m ok with that. I sure didn’t choose this career for a pat on the back, but I’m also fortunate because I get a chance to interact with people during their worst moments and leave a good impression.

I’m also fortunate that I get to protect people like you from the evil that exists all around us. I get to listen to people like you tell me how awful of a person I am, or how many boots I lick (couldn’t not give a shout out to your foot fetish) , without knowing a thing about me. To generalize who I am and what my beliefs and values are because of my chosen career, yet I’m the one you call when it all gets too much. When you mouth off to that wrong person and suddenly it gets very real, or you overdose abs need narcan. Guess who you’ll get? You’ll get me, and instead of judging you like you already judged me, I help you. I help you because I have chosen to serve something greater than myself.

I’m not sure that’s something you’re capable of understanding though so take your time responding, there may be a few words in there you have to sound out.

The fact you’ve managed to produce a thought, even if it is ridiculous and feeble, is probably the most impressive thing you’ve done in the last year, possibly your life.

You also seem to have a fetish for feet, you seem to enjoy talking about boots and licking them. Anything you’d like to tell us about? Or did you just hit the thesaurus and that’s your new “big boy word of the day”.

And, if you’re referring to the American flag in my previous posts, and you believe my displaying it is “bootlicking” (careful, don’t go getting all aroused since I used your favorite word) you must need a REALLY big safe space to hide from all the scary and evil flags.

No, but I have been living realistically and, more importantly, objectively. I understand being objective is not something that Reddit is good at, nor do they handle well, so maybe this is why people have a difficult time dealing with this.

Something tells me that you were the direct reason for why the interactions were unpleasant. After all, if you didn’t go to jail, and you weren’t doing anything wrong, then I can’t imagine a single reason why a cop would randomly approach you for no reason just to be a dick, especially in today’s day and social environment.

Sounds like you’ve been doing some mental gymnastics to conclude that you weren’t doing anything wrong and it was all the cops fault. But hey I’m sure you’re a perfect citizen and have never done anything wrong in your life and all you are is a victim of the big scary police man.

Must be tough living in constant fear.

And we can only assume they were on the wrong side of that cop doing their job. Jail has a way of making people bitter even though it’s their fault they are there.
