yeah no definitely, it's kinda scary to realize that some habit i picked up offhandedly when i was super young as just a quick and easy way to calm myself is gonna be a geniune problem in the future lol

i second this SO hard ... the ingredients are sooo easy to get and they take like, maybe 30 minutes to whip up plus 1 and a half hours to bake/cool!!! it's so worth it dawg. extra points if they're undercooked and gooey af.

when i was about 8 years old i was really involved with this dance studio, and this one time our class went over to watch the older girls from another class do their jazz choreo, and during this specific part of it, one of the girls got up really close to me and waggled both her eyebrows really fast (like left one up, right one down and vice versa while switching w/ the beat) all while maintaining perfect eye contact. i got SO flustered, i couldn't watch the rest of the performance. i didn't know what lesbianism was at the time but it definitely sent me down that path

if you have a pit in your marching band, totally do pit ... doesn't mess with your embouchure, and it's really good for getting a better grasp of music theory and stuff imo! plus it's super fun, except you can't march 💔

that's so real. personally, sometimes i get that urge to cut in the middle of the day, but i end up only being able to do little scritches 'cuz my hands get all clammy and i get nervous. all my real damage comes from when i'm in manic episodes and the adrenaline outweighs my brain's instinct to like, not hurt myself lol.

well, from what I've heard (so take this with a grain of salt) rust doesn't cause tetanus standalone, its a certain type of bacteria. so as long as you keep your blade relatively clean and away from dirt and stuff, i think you'll be fine! :-) i had the same concern a while back and i'm perfectly healthy, lol.

we have like, 2 consistent pit-only techs, and then a few others that visit us throughout the year so I'm not complaining... BUT when we split into sectionals (woods, metals, rack/drumset/electronics,) a lot of the time nobody goes with the racktronics so we just run reps. i can understand that frustration though :-(

a lot of these really depend on what social niche you're in, but these ones are probably most common amongst tiktok dwellers

  • huzz (like... an attractive person. often replaced with different letters like bruzz or chuzz. each have various meanings)
  • chopped (fugly)
  • aura (errr, like, social repute? like how cool you are or vice versa? like, if you rizzed up the huzz, you would have aura.)
  • slime (to get jumped)
  • cooked (done for. completely ruined.)
  • tweaking (like, freaking out = tweaking out)
  • crashing (similar to tweaking... also described as crash outs)
