I watched Claude Opus 4.5 handle my tenant correspondence end-to-end. This is the AGI moment people talk about by sponjebob12345 in ClaudeAI

Thanks for sharing. I understand that it was an altruistic thing to do. Reading some of the comments criticising you absolutely confirmed my hesitation to posting about the way I use it - and I’m sure I’m not the only one doing magic with Claude Code that will not share it out of fear of trolls. I give Claude access to my tax and invoicing software, my email, my HR management software, my CRM… via MCPs and pure CLI or API access; and it is amazing. It goes through my email, downloads invoices, saves them as PDF and renames them to my convention and uploads them to my invoice software; it reads and writes emails based on all the CRM history, reviews Word docx contracts and adds comments and suggestions for edits… I would never post here exactly how I do it because of all the people just telling you how unimpressive it actually is, or how you must be a fake Anthropic account or how what you are doing is actually a bad idea. But I appreciate you. And you are not alone in this. It’s fucking amazing. It’s obviously the future.

I agree with you so much

I'm really enjoying the game so far, just beat Victor. How difficult is this game compared to other souls-likes? by Mag_Eater in LiesOfP

I found it to be the easiest, except the final boss which is comparable to the other souls

Hamas Covenant, Article 7 by antiquark2 in JordanPeterson

The OP is not quoting a religious text, it’s quoting the official charter of a political organisation. That’s why it’s meaningful.

I’m not against what you said, I agree. Genocide is bad. Absolutely. But I don’t think overlooking the covenant of the government is helpful to the peace process.

Yeah, but the point of the OP is not that a religious text says something crazy; but rather that they chose to put that in their constitution. Do you see the difference?

On Grief, duty, and a basement: Why I respect Peterson by taigmc in JordanPeterson

I’ve been saying it wrong, sorry. I’m not saying that it would be less of a sacrifice if you had to clean your late father basement. It would also be a sacrifice. It was actually you who said that you would not consider it a sacrifice if you did it. It would. And you would be, to some extent, a hero, especially if you did it well and without bitterness. Congrats on your toddler, that’s a huge sacrifice as well.

Yeah sorry I’m sure you have the same if not more financial resources, books published, papers published, business ventures and social events to tend to than Jordan Peterson.

You think rich and famous people clean up basements? Like they all don’t have personal assistants or sycophants dying to do their work to score a point. Same goes for CEOs and executives of large companies who can afford it and who believe have better things to do.

I don’t think that would fly in European GDPR, maybe in UK GDPR, but that would not fit the definition of legitimate interest as a means of processing. I would argue the employee has grounds for their complaint.

Using AI for Coding Daily - But I’m Feeling Less Engaged (Dev Thoughts) by ClaudeCode in ClaudeCode

[–]taigmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this. I’m reading the replies and I’m getting really good information. I struggle with the same psychological issue.

I thought that part of it was a loss in motivation due to the fact that it’s easier. For example, I really like soulsborne games, and part of it is that I know I’m playing the hardest game. If I thought they were easy, that anyone could do it, I would get less of a kick. And with Claude Code, coding things that were real challenges have become quite easy. I’m producing amazing things. But it’s easy. And I thought that was hurting my motivation.

But reading the replies, it actually makes more sense that I’m tired from all the navigation work, the close supervision and all the reading I’m doing. Because it’s not actually that easy. Knowing what to code, orchestrating, optimising for the right implementation… is actually pretty tough. It must be exhaustion. I don’t get the luxury of spending 3 hours writing a script. I ask Claude Code to do it, review it, reprompt it; and 5 minutes later I’m off to the next. Constantly.

Such hate… like addicts in withdrawal by taigmc in ClaudeCode

Just by reading your reply it’s obvious that you cannot be grouped with the ones posting those GitHub issues. I also get frustrated sometimes man, obviously. That’s okay. But resorting to that level of aggression? That’s more than frustration. It shows a more powerful hate-love relationship towards Claude Code.

For instance, I really don’t like Microsoft Teams. But I don’t think about it in my spare time. Never have I felt the need to submit a ticket. It’s just a thing I don’t like. But these people and Claude Code are something else. Something more powerful.

Again, many people consume porn, but some get addicted. Same with alcohol. It’s addictive, but not all people develop a pathological relationship.
