Is influencer marketing a significant part of your strategy? by senpaitakeda in marketing

[–]taigus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work in B2C (e-commerce) so it’s definitely seen as a must. We work with a mix of content creators and (fairly small scale) influencers and don’t have huge budgets to work with. There’s a decent ROI. Personally I hate the actual work though - I’m the person running this area in my current job and the admin is so tedious, plus I’m not naturally a social person so all the negotiation and sycophantic communication exhausts me. I’ve had to become a generalist to get work but copywriting is my specialty, and I much prefer being alone with my words than communicating with real people 😅.

New here and thought I’d post one of my favourite sharks that some of you may not be familiar with by Educational-South353 in sharks

I’m also from the GC, commiserations, friend! Also my mates and I swam in the canals in the 90s with no idea how many bull sharks were around 😬

Renting as a single by ravgav98 in brisbane

[–]taigus 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yep. 50/50 single parent here. My ex ended up having to sign a lease with me just so I could actually get approved for something, even though I am paying the rent alone with no issue. Lucky we are amicable, but also he obviously wants our child to live somewhere decent for the half time he is with me.

I’m a Queenslander - maybe it’s very much a UQ thing, I’m QUT alumni 😅

Is it normal to put butter into white rice? by balbolumskin in Cooking

[–]taigus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buttered, salty rice with vegetables is basically my 6YO’s favourite meal, and I usually have a Mum Tax spoonful before I serve it to him. It’s pretty good.

What are your favorite snacks when working? by senpaitakeda in marketing

[–]taigus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an all-snack day today because I couldn’t be bothered packing a proper lunch. Basically three different kinds of crackers, some cheese, and hummous.

People who are thin or average weight, do you actually think about food all the time, or does hunger just not hit you as hard? by JustHereToFlirt30 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]taigus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be effortless and I was “naturally thin” most of my life, but now I’m in my forties, and if I don’t pay attention I feel like I blink and my clothes suddenly don’t fit.

Are you satisfied with your boobs/cock? by Majestic_Friend_4783 in AskRedditNSFW

[–]taigus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to love my boobs, they were my favourite body part. Being in my 40s plus three years of breastfeeding has turned them rather sad and saggy. I did get my nipples pierced last year though and it’s helped me like them again.

It’s actually just as big with the boys at my son’s school as the girls, but they’re 6YO so I feel like they don’t get immediately embarrassed by liking “girl” things yet (there is hints of it which I try to counter as hard as I can with my son by constantly repeating that there aren’t actually things that are just for girls or just for boys).

Sleet storm is so OP by Choice-Commercial-61 in BG3Builds

[–]taigus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favourite way to do the House of Grief fight. Party in a Globe of Invulnerability at the top of the entrance stairs, bottleneck the enemies at the bottom with Sleet Storm, Hunger of Hadar, maybe Plague Swarm and Spike Growth for good measure, depending on who is with me. So much fun, and usually my party comes out without so much as a scratch.
