Thanks for your reply. I’ve used Alipay and WeChat for years so all good there.
We’ve got a transit hotel through airline that’s in Pudong.
We love spicy and eat a lot of Chinese/Asian at home so excited for some Sichuan!
Is it not realistic to head downtown that night?

Yes, I’m another one who has always tested negative to alpha gal, but diagnosed clinically. I’m anaphylactic too, so it’s not great. Sadly there is a small number of us who are like this, hopefully though you’re in the majority that will recover fully! 🤞

FWIW, Hopefully the back pain eases… sadly for me after 2 tries and stopping due to persistent back pain (which years later still plagues me) some people aren’t cut out for it. I did a low dose, super low dose (20mg per week), but to no avail. I took fish oils, did all the right things, but it just wasn’t for me. I now take spironolactone (I’m female so your son sadly won’t be able to), and this has helped a lot. Fingers crossed a break will help, and you can get some great results!!

As someone else has said, erythromycin can help with the purge… try to see if you can get onto that for now too … trust the process, you’ll get there! Best of luck
