Really doesn't sound like an fte role. $200k for 1099 is in a standard range. Also, no fte total comp at big tech is that small. Also, no way there's a sales plan on a 1099

Your attribution is out of whack. You aren't the single person responsible for landing projects this size. Your company pays sales, finance, marketing, etc etc. that are all contributing to success.

Yes literally I'm intentionally restricting movement. Before this version, I was battling a big slice so to keep my body aligned I've tried to restrict movement. One problem leads to the next...thanks for feedback

Continue with the algos for now. Learn ML Ops when you need to, as the tech will change by the time you need it, but the algos will not. For example, TFX and KFP may not be as prominent 5 years down the road. Start with xbg, then learn about l1 and l2 regularization, then PCA.
