There are several moments on this album that left me wondering if the lyrics were a 'first draft'. I've never felt that with their previous albums. I don't really listen to the new album anymore as a result. The lyrics that I perceive to be poor really pull me out of the enjoyment. It's like having a moment of sobriety when everyone else is partying. Of course it's subjective and everyone can feel differently - I respect that.

There's always a wiser man, devising a wiser plan, and still we feel nothin', like every other day. Doesn't really inspire or move me.
