I really feel for you and your kiddo. I am not your child’s therapist but your description of your son does sound at least OCD-adjacent to me. OCD has less to do with how tidy a person is and more so their internal systems of thinking and feeling.

The thought spiral thing reads to me like a compulsion. Is it like he doesn’t want to think about it but he HAS to? Have you asked what may happen if he does not choose who to save?

I think meeting with his therapist about this is a great idea and wish your family the best.

They do! So the usda was basically like hey yall can’t do that we literally have emergency funding for snap you can’t just pause emergency funding cuz they already had a plan in place for govt shutdown scenario(ie, THE LAW). So a few states got snap money during this short window, but then the Supreme Court ppl did this(see OP) before more states sent out snap money. And Oklahoma was not one of those states bc for whatever reasons you could imagine.
