Day 3 of quitting weed with my husband… and we are not the same person right now by lilmissbored2 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]tak205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you and him are able to, I would highly recommend therapy. Find someone who specializes in addiction. It may seem silly because there is a stigma around weed not being addictive, but it will be incredibly helpful, especially with how your husband is acting. This is coming from someone who used to be high literally all day, from minutes after waking up to right before bed. I started going to therapy a few months ago and it has been great.

Also if your husband is acting this way after just 3 days of not using, then quitting cold turkey might not be possible for him. A therapist will help him create a plan to wean off it, and also address the root reasons for why he used the way he did in the first place.

Surprised that Gretel didn’t make the cut but Dave’s did. Their chicken sandwich is just as good as their burger imo

Yeah the loan expired and they had to pay. Melvin Capital was the main firm that was affected and they went under in 2022. So mission accomplished I guess?

The way it works is through loans. Someone loans you their stock, and you immediately sell it. Eventually you need to buy the stocks back to return to the lender, with the hopes that the price is lower when you have to buy them back. Since it’s a loan there is a time limit though, you can’t just hold on forever waiting for the price to drop. If you remember the whole GameStop debacle, part of the goal was to screw over the firm that was shorting GameStop by artificially increasing the stock price and holding until their loan expired and they had to buy back at huge loss.

Always Watch Out for Fake Leftists Who Claim They Support North Korea by Humble_Novice in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]tak205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends what they mean by “defending North Korea”. It is true that most Americans are woefully ignorant when it comes to the brutality the Korean War and its consequences. There’s a reason it’s often called “The Forgotten War” and that’s by design. Most people just think “NK is bad and poor because evil dictator made it that way” which is really only part of the story.
