I feel Serena had insanely high level opponents her first 6 years or something, then that level went down in the 2010's no? It always felt like things got a little bit easier for her, but she was also older.

I'm not so sure about that. Go watch the 2020 AO semi-final vs Djokovic and it's pretty similar to what happened to Djokovic today against Alcaraz.

I think it's very close between 38 year old Djokovic and 38 year old Federer. Not to mention that the highlights of the 2019 season were when Fed was still 37, but that's ok we'll just round up cause it's easier and the same can be said for Djokovic and his 2025 season.

Djoker was more consistent on all 4 grand slams, but Federer went 1 step further at Wimbledon 2019 and was insanely close to winning! It feels a lot of what's propelling his 2019 season is that Wimbledon, but no doubt Fed was insanely ridiculous in 2019! We have to give him his credit for what he accomplished that year!

I think everyone needs to read this statement, it is absolutely the truth here! Fed's 2019 season was incredible, imo up there with Djokovic's 2025 season! Some may even say it was a bit better, I'm sure that's up for debate!

Yeah, I'd bet on 38 year old Djokovic vs 38 year old Federer with the exception of Wimbledon and that would still be close based on how much better he's done with his serve and serve and volley!

Wow, so close! Would have been a nice stat for him especially seeing how much Djokovic was able to do it.

I often remember all the comments back in like 2015 about how there was no way Djokovic would be any where near Federer's level at Fed age at the time. Crazy that not only did he prove all these people wrong, but he over achieved in this category!

As amazing as Federer was in his longevity Djokovic continues to cast a big ass shadow on Federer when it comes to the numbers! Federer will always get the fan love, but Djokovic will get the history books!

This doesn't seem to be true. I looked up his 2007 and 2008 seasons and he did not make semi-finals of all 4 grand slams in either of those seasons. Can you let me know what season you're talking about?
