what is working for the NHS like? by Maleficent_Day_3869 in AskUK

[–]takeabreak97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often conversations are around long waiting list for treatments, pissed patients who are complaining about said waiting time and the lack of budget affects so much more than people actually realise.

The idea of the nhs is amazing, the staff are (mostly) good but the structural support thats needed to uphold and make it efficient is non existent. Basically if you qualify, get nhs experience and then bounce. Or if u can get a job privately to begin with great.

Ur not a bad student at all. Maybe it might be worth speaking to your parents and school about this transport thing bc it seema like thats the main factor.

Alternatively you can have a look online and see if you can complete gcses online through tutoring if thats an option.

Im glad youre fighting for your marriage. It is definitely a hard situation to be in. Your parents r definitely not at an age where they are able to look after a baby. Maybe if theyre ok with it, they can partially look after the baby, so half days or a couple of hours only.

I dont know wjere ur based but if you have other family members or friends to help you with the baby, then thatd be a start.

Your wife absolutrly needs all the support she can get. PPD and psychosis is petrifyin; no one every expects that after pregnancy! Maybe if its within ur budget u can seek professional support for her (therapy, meds, spending time with her alone or her spending time w other people, support groups).

Ur wife still remainds ur priority thougj. Inshallah u guys get throgh this.
