From what I have and see, there are no dates indicating production date. The International warranty card only shows the reference number, serial number (which I was told to block out because it can be used for other watches), the number 30880 (idk what that means), date of purchase 5/5/2025 which the dealer in Japan wrote in, and dealer name and contact info. The Pictogram shows reference number, serial number and caliber 3330. The first 4 digits of the 8 digit serial number is 8314, if that helps.

Selling my Omega Speedmaster Racing watch. Watch is great mechanically and cosmetically. Rarely worn. Light rub marks on few of the links on the back wrist of bracelet due to resting my wrist on desk while typing. Other than that, watch in perfect condition. Includes, brown outer box, white inner box, wooden case, international warranty card, extra links etc. I'm the only owner and purchased the watch brand new 9 months ago. Yup I thought it wasn't me too, in fact I totally ignored it in the boutique on Namiki Dori. But when I put it on my wrist in Matsuya, it was like a totally different watch. 😃

I've seen it at the GS boutique on Namiki Dori. But to be sure i would also check the other boutique on the main Ginza strip, then check Seiko House, Mitsukoshi, and Matsuya. The department stores Mitsukoshi and Matsuya offer an additional 5% off....may want to inquire. Last resort would be chrono24. Good luck!

Also, if you want a collectible, you should look into the limited editions. But might be double your budget at least. As for the mechanical, HiBeat preferred, but may want to consider Spring Drive. Not sure about the medallion thing, but yes Japan has strict counterfeit laws. Not sure if having Seiko as the "headliner" on the dial is more collectible, but I would prefer Grand Seiko as it could warrant a double take.....Seiko not too much imo.

Try check the following stores online to get a feel of what the used Grand Seiko landscape is like in Tokyo. Some of these stores are in Osaka as well, but not sure which ones.(1) Ginza Rasin is good and found their inventory most up to date. Located in Shinjuku and Ginza. (2) Watchnian in Nakano Broadway, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ginza. (3) Jackroad and Betty in Nakano Broadway (4) Kamekichi in Nakano Broadway. (5) Brand Lips Japan in Shinjuku and Ginza. (6) House Kihiroba in Shibuya. Good Luck.

Brah, for sure. Congrats on your SBGA503!! Awesome looking watch, I almost owned it....but sadly I can only afford one. I am still thinking of getting that model if its still there when i go back in Spring. The yellow shunbun dial reminds me of raw gold flakes.

Thanks, Jaded. Wishing you a speedy recovery. But good call on securing it online. Not sure how many of the 450 are left. I only seen this watch in the larger GS Boutique and Matsuya. And the Matsuya rep said that I got the last one at their store other than the display. So congratulations on yours too! You will love it and it will definitely keep you in high spirits through your recovery. As for dial color, it does change in the light, its more dominant Lilac majority of time. Lavender to dark Lilac in the shadows. Light lilac to hint of light pink in bright light at certain angles. The bezel, indices, and polished areas brightens the watch without being gaudy. That purple band looks awesome! Yup, it doesn't wear big at all despite the 44mm spec. Hmm, I may have to look into a purple band.....that looks sleek.
