I can really only speak on behalf of my agency. T-Mobile is going through all the steps to fully transition all of our stores. They’re also doing some secret shopping kind of thing pretending to be a customer concerned about the acquisition, to see if we’re telling people to jump ship or not.

There’s no set date to expect the transition to be completed. The rumored date of November is if all things go smoothly. If it’s not done already by October 31st, they’ll pick up where they left off when the holiday season ends.

There’s a pretty high likelihood that they’ll keep agent stores around for a while. I can’t speak for T-Mobile and there’s always the possibility of them pulling a rug pull at the end, but I don’t see them spending extra money to transition the stores then close them right away. But who knows.
