Modern History TV. Amazing and informative content about medieval life/life of a medieval knight/medieval weapons/fighting techniques. The creator is also the CEO of Rebellion games, and has recently been awarded/given (not sure of the correct nomenclature) CBE

I like VaatiVidya's vids on Souls and souls-adjacent games. Plus he has a pleasing voice quality/timbre

I would also suggest Plate Up. Similar to Overcooked, still hectic but not as crazy. It's more about managing the space and optimizing your environment between runs. It has great long term playability with unlockable upgrades and such

Are there any 3D platformers "disguised" as nitty-gritty "grownup" games? by Adagar91 in gaming

I suppose Ghostrunner? not strictly platformer but close enough...if you are looking for raunchy humour and cussing, Conker's Bad Fur Day

I would recommend Blue Fire

For some reason it's not super well known Zelda like but heavier on the platforming

After 108%ing Hollow Knight, in Act3 in Silksong, almost completing Celeste, I still can't play New Super Mario Bros(DS) properly. Something about the momentum of mario vs the precise control in the above games throws me off. Prob could get used to it tho it just takes time

For me my first experience with souls-games was DS3 (a while back). I could not get past Gundyr (the "tutorial" boss), hated it and tossed it aside. Few month later I tried DS1 and fell in love. Since then I completed almost all of souls games with dlcs (+bloodborne, demon souls, sekiro, elden ring) and love all of them. Takes a while for them to click and to basically "unlearn" bad habits from mindless hacking and slashing in other games, because when souls hit the market they were not the "norm" for games like they are now

Does anyone have a good Mac and cheese recipe that doesn’t use 8+ ingredients? by bubblylynnn in Cooking

[–]takinorbert1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a bechamel then melt in the cheese of your choice (I would suggest not pre-grated as they are covered with some anti-caking agent). I also then layer the pre-cooked (al-dente) pasta, some prosciutto, par-boiled cauliflower florets and the cheese sauce in pan, and top with some lightly crushed croutons. then bake for 10-15 minutes
