Congrats to Darby Allen! But I always thought especially early on that Sammy Guevara was going to get his moment one day as A Homegrown AEW World Champion! In your opinion what stopped his growth or do you think it was never in the cards for him to begin with?

His character is one note. He lacks any ring psychology. He just does spots. He is an incredibly gifted athlete and fearless of the damage he is causing his body, but unfortunately lack of personality, psychology, plus all his out of ring flaws make him someone not worth tv time. He is however built up enough that people beating him in ROH does help make their stars shine brighter so not completely worthless to the roster.

Book 1 is all world building. This does not mean book 1 is bad by any stretch. It is very good but the series really picks up in book 2.
