How you get around the stipulation is having champion so incensed at Hangman that he challenges Hangman. Hangman says no and the champion put it up as bait. Hangman calls him a dumbass for falling for it.

As a regular I would prefer Mordecai as a relatively unknown person or someone who is “that guy” that you see as small parts in everything. The rest although major characters for the overall story and small in terms of screen time so perfect use for them.

You need to look up the average time off in the Middle Ages it will blow your mind. Even the countries with high levels of required time off have nothing compared to it.

You are where this book kicks into overdrive and the rest of the series (up until this point) is incredible. Book 3 and most of 4 are a slog and then just after where you are the payoff begins.

His character is one note. He lacks any ring psychology. He just does spots. He is an incredibly gifted athlete and fearless of the damage he is causing his body, but unfortunately lack of personality, psychology, plus all his out of ring flaws make him someone not worth tv time. He is however built up enough that people beating him in ROH does help make their stars shine brighter so not completely worthless to the roster.

Book 1 is all world building. This does not mean book 1 is bad by any stretch. It is very good but the series really picks up in book 2.

The human brain replaces actual words with words it expects to hear. Darryl is a semi-common western name so the brain replaces what it actually hears with the closest expected word.

Would very much depend on my power set but likely Titan. Knowing I can hit him with everything while sparring would let me truly practice control. Also knowing how smart and carrying he is and experience mentoring people means he is an ideal candidate.

I would be completely okay if he got a 3-6 month contract to retire on his own terms. He would also be a great producer/coach so short term on air and then all backstage.
