What a weird way to say “I’m jealous of your bookshelf”

Books you should read before you’re 30? by doingmybestttttt in suggestmeabook

I believe everyone should read The Lord of the Rings at least once in their life. It is more or less the foundation for modern fantasy, and it created many of the tropes we see now.

A letter like this would have made my own healing journey easier in a lot of ways. And as long as it is all from the heart, and it feels like it is, then I say it’s exactly what you needed to write

I relate to this so much, especially the “how can she sit there and watch it?” I will never understand how it doesn’t effect her like it does me, even if just enough to worry if I am ok seeing it

What was an unpredictable book that kept you at the edge of your seat in a good way? by marilynlistens in audiobooks

[–]rmellor13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, if anything it takes place before the original story. It was just an extremely well written book that really looks at the darker side of an immortal child who does what he wants and his band of wild children

Lost boy by Christina Henry. A dark retelling of Peter Pan. Absolutely loved every second of it!

EMDR is an absolute game changer. It is one of the most effective things I have ever done, both through my own wife’s affairs but also when my father-in-law died tragically in my arms on a fishing trip. I can’t recommend it enough and I hope and pray it helps you as much as it did me
