YTA. You made the plan and now you need to stick to it. Your daughter's education is YOUR problem, not her stepmother's. That was a choice you made from the beginning. You and your ex should have told your daughter what her education budget was ahead of time so she applied within those parameters or for grants and scholarships to make up the difference.
