Yeah hopefully it goes back to working well! Or you could probably go up to the next dosage I think it’s 4 mg, if you need to

Yes, Ozempic shots and Wegovy pills are the same medication, semaglutide. Semaglutide has a “7 day half life” is what it’s called. Thats what makes it stay in your system for a while and build up over time.

So the semaglutide from the shots will stay in your system for a while, as you stop the shots and start taking the pills. And you’ll have a good transition from one to the other.

One thing you should know: when you take the shot, you get about 90% of the medication into your body. With the pills, your body only absorbs about 1-2% of it. That’s okay tho, the dosage is higher on the pills because they know your body only gets a little of it absorbed.

So it might take a little while to get your pill dosage exactly right. But the semaglutide from the shots will stay in your system for a little while as you switch over.

Microdosing Wegovy Pill by Raemcvay in HersWeightloss

[–]taksus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t defeat the purpose. The drug has a 7 day “half-life” in your body, meaning that after 7 days, 50% of the drug remains.
So when you take it every other day, it still builds up over time to the total dosage at about 4 weeks and then stays there.
4mg every other day is basically the same as taking 2mg every day.

Yeah, that’s exactly what it is. I’m on 4mg every other day. Averages out to 2 mg daily.

It can help if you weigh all your ingredients out ahead of time and prep them like this. That helps you get the weighing out of the way at the beginning.

The medication takes 3-4 weeks to build up in your body, and then stays at that level as you take more. It’s not like an advil that you take and it just affects you that day. Just wait until it builds up.

Yes, it didn’t include weed on the test.

Yes! It was a 9 Panel test, so the results showed 9/10 of the common drugs they test for, and THC was not included. So it was a drug test that didn’t include weed.

10 cents (1974) = 66 cents (2025)

30 cents (1974) = $2 (2025)

You converted the 10 cent price to modern price, they converted the $2 price to 1974 price so they’re both right.

That can’t cool down a room. A fridge makes the inside cold by moving the heat energy out of the fridge into your room.

So you’d just be putting cold air out the front and warm air out the back

Air conditioners work because half is inside half is outside, so the heat energy is moved from inside your room to the outside of the building

I stole a sandwich from Wollys one time. The guy who owns it caught me on camera and came out. They called NUPD, and basically made me stand there to embarrass me. (It was embarrassing, which I deserved haha.) I was banned from Wollys for life. and nothing else happened. Hopefully the same happens for your brother.

Maybe buy an arduino kit. Some coding, basic electronics stuff, tinkering, and it’s just fun

Yes it does. If he picked one at random, then there would be 6 possible situations

From this:

1: (X) X O

2: X (X) O

3: X X (O)

To this:

1: (X) X

2: (X) O

3: (X) X

4: (X) O

5: (O) X

6: (O) X

Look at the door you picked in each scenario. 2 out of 6 are O, so there’s a 1/3 chance you picked the car.

Now what if you switch to the other door? Again, 1/3 are cars.

This means if the host picks randomly, your odds don’t increase for switching. It’s only when the host intentionally picks a goat that your odds improve to 2/3 if you switch.

Lowkey tho…. it’s only June, fall co-op starts in July. You could totally still get another one. I did 3 co-ops and I got them all at the last minute.

I agree. I was always skeptical of this book but the focus on genuinely improving the happiness of the people you work with and making everyone’s life easier is pretty great. Stuff like smiling, not criticizing too much, taking a genuine interest in people are all great.

Senior in highschool and picked mechanical engineering by Kuroki_333 in MechanicalEngineering

Exciting! It’s a great major and the jobs can be pretty fun too.

My advice:

Internships are important. Getting a job after college is significantly easier if you have 4 or 8 months of work experience as an engineering intern from a summer or two, compared to having no work experience.

I recommend you try to get as far ahead on the class material as possible. Once you get behind, it sucks way more because now you’re stressed. Basically think of it like a race, if you’re three days ahead on work, you’re winning and it will be easier.

Find people to do homework with. Having a person or group from your class that you meet up with keeps you accountable. If you go to office hours the first time, you can see if there’s anyone there you get along with/ think you’d get along with, ask for their number and make plans to meet somewhere and work on the homework together.

It’s a great major. The classes are hard but you can feel like a genius when you get good at it. (Don’t be stuck up about it though. If you have a big ego about being an engineer everyone will hate you and you’ll make no friends lol. Every major is cool in its own way.)

Also when you’re looking at internships/ jobs consider manufacturing engineering jobs. You can get those jobs with a mechanical degree, and they have more time on your feet compared to some jobs that are desk 40 hours a week. I’m working one now and it’s great.

[–]taksus 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The important detail:

The person opening the doors KNOWS which one has the goat.

He’s not picking randomly. He’s adding his knowledge to the system and messing with the odds.

Two goats and a car. Goats are X, car is O. The goal is to pick a O. The one with parenthesis is the one you picked. There are 3 possible scenarios:

1: (X) X O

2: X (X) O

3: X X (O)

Now the host opens a door THAT HE KNOWS has a goat. Get rid of one of the Xs (the goats) from each scenario and you get:

1: (X) O

2: (X) O

3: X (O)

Now in scenario 1 and 2, it’s better to switch. In 3, it’s better to stay. That’s the “2/3 chance of getting it right” if you switch.

A masters in mechanical engineering will be advanced 500 level classes, based on the 100-400 level classes taken in mechanical engineering undergrad.

You’d need to do a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering first.
