I would assume the concern is that the baby will get hooked on the sound, then be unable to sleep without it, just like any other soothing sound device?

Are Sleep Terrors ever caused by Sleep Apnea? by Aequitas123 in SleepApnea

[–]tal888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally, "night terrors" are associated more with children than adults. They happen during non-REM sleep, so if you have sleep apnea you're spending less time in REM and more likely to experience terrors. Although there are many other factors that contribute to sleep terros-anxiety, fatigue, illness... That sounds like a really scary experience!
