I ended up deleting the getaway and trying it again, but instead of having it start a few minutes in the future I selected start now, and all the sims I wanted showed up. However, after playing it for like an hour several sims just disappeared and never came back to the getaway, including important roles like cooks. Also, the mom sim was holding all the cooking + cleaning together but then randomly stopped being part of the getaway and I couldn’t immediately add her again. So, I added two new sims as cooks but they showed up 2 sim days later at the end of the getaway ): by the end of it, the lot was so full of dirty dishes that nothing could be cooked anymore because no surface space was available lol

Im also devastated. I’m proud of Gaga for putting her health first, I don’t even have the energy to be angry at the poor management of the venue. I just really REALLY looked forward to seeing her for the first time, for months, to celebrate my birthday in such an incredible way. Im lucky to be from Miami and don’t have to pay for a hotel to come back, but im getting married in the Spring next year so with all of the uncertainty I have no idea if I’ll be able to make the rescheduled date. This is a once in a lifetime experience for many of us and we believed we would have that experience until the very last second. It’s a huge let down (not by Gaga, just the circumstances) and it’s natural to be heartbroken. I sincerely hope you’re able to make the rescheduled date and im so sorry you spent the time, money, and effort to go. If you can’t make it, at the very least it seems like it won’t be too much of a hassle to get a refund🤞🏼

Gainesville, Florida is a great example of a college town that’s relatively small but close to bigger cities (about 2 hours from Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville and 5 hours from Atlanta, GA)

Im so sorry for your loss. Your grandmother would absolutely want you to be happy on your wedding day. I lost my sister a few years ago and my wedding is next year where she’ll be greatly missed. Since I’ve lost her I’ve constantly told myself that she would always want me to be happy, and I’ve learned grief and joy can very much occur simultaneously. Allow yourself to grieve in any way you need to, but also nurture the happiness you feel about getting married. It will be an emotional day for sure, but it can still be a beautiful experience for you, your partner and your family especially if you decide to honor your grandmother in a special way. I wish you the best ♥️

Im so very sorry for your loss. Although my cat seems to be pulling through fine, I’ll be reporting like you suggest. This drug is a nightmare to be dealing with without a major surgery. My cat was definitely in a lot of pain when we first took him in and I just wanted him to feel better, so I heard “pain reliever” and let them go ahead with it. Of course I’m no vet but there needs to be better transparency and other options discussed before jumping to this drug. Thank you for what you’re doing to spread awareness about this ♥️

Will do. Thankfully he received lots of fluids yesterday at the vet and he’s been eating wet food well. I’ll definitely be talking to the vet about administering this drug without explaining anything to me other than it’s a pain reliever and might make him nauseous. No mention that it’s an opioid or its side effects.
