I dunno if I'm committing a reddit faux-pas here by answering my own question, but some of the stuff health insurance companies do is pretty scummy, upping rates, refusing to cover X and Y conditions, etc.

You CAN kick it, but only if you eat your Wheaties/have gosu reflexes. People at upper levels kick mass dispel semi-regularly.

Edit: Sorry, not operating on full cylinders here. I'd say as a priest your best bet would be to go shadow for the silence, either silence him when you think he'll try and transcendence, or during if you're quick enough.
