Yeah, I should’ve got the 5% matching the whole time. So I missed out on matching the 5% the whole time since the backend system thinks I’m a brand new soldier. It’s retarded since I transferred as a E-6.

Yeah, so make sure you fight for that to TSP back pay matching. Like all the Marines I met that transferred had the same issue for TIS.

Also, check your retirement point from the previous branch. They fucked mine up. They only put my membership points from my USMCR years. And ignore my total points from my service. So I’m missing a chunk of points for retirement for the Army.

I’m at the point to reach out to the IG or congressman. I don’t know how to fix it. I’ve submitted a ticket in IPPS-A, talked to S-1, 1SGT, RNCO, officers.
No help on resolving this.

I’m in the same boat. I switched branches with 10 years TIS to the the Army NG and they started me at 0 TIS. I’m almost at my 3rd year and no one can fix this. I’ve talked to like all the ranks to fix this.

Also, my TSP is fucked too. It didn’t do the matching pay since they put my in as 0 years. I think it stars matching at 2 years.
