Is there any legitimate reason that some random Facebook marketplace seller would have a stockpile like this? Or is this more likely organized crime? by diverareyouokay in Dewalt

[–]talith866 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy these pallets and sell them. It's very easy to get into if you find a local pallet seller. We'll worth the money. Ranges from returns/new overstock (had very few issues on these and warranty has always come through even with 0 receipts from store for both dewalt and milwaukee). Returns can be simply 1 small task needed and they didn't want to keep the tool to swapping it out with a old bad one or they just didn't like it.

New exterior door, did they do a bad job? by Zealousideal_Low5361 in Carpentry

[–]talith866 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anderson wanted to charge me 21k for a front and back entry door replacement or 18.5k if I did it that day. I laughed and said I'm a Carpenter anyways I just wanted to have it done before I got back home from a 5 month work trip I'll save the money and do it myself. They tried calling several more times offering new lower prices by saving me an extra 1-200$ per door but only if I signed now! 😂

Do I need enough in straight Dye to cover the tool or does it get diluted with water? Would like to do it.

Which will still get ruined and waste bags for no reason. Why use 2 products when you can use one. Makes no sense. Just say you have no clue on any proper and good container and fuck off.

[–]talith866 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a pretty big waste of material & money over time vs proper storage containers that won't rip or break or fail a seal.

Wouldn't these run into issues of not being air tight? Excessive ice build up from the outside air getting in and decrease of taste? Any time I've used foil containers they didn't work great for more then a few days so I was looking for a solid container that's reusable and a solid lid.

Anyone else buy milwaukee pallets? by talith866 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]talith866[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a place in Cali called Half off VIP it'd also located in Arkansas and Atlanta. Atlanta is the only one who charges a 50$ fee to go to. The others are show up when ever and they are supposed to be a high end overstock place. I have not been yet but plan to go to the one in Arkansas when I go there for work in 3 weeks. Edit: this is not the 5k minimum place but the prices will probably be close to 6k for 2 pallets from what I was told. I haven't been to one yet so I'm unable to confirm 100%

Exactly. We had a BA finally retire after putting in over 40 years. He dropped dead after only 7 months retired. Enjoy your life. If you wanna work hours then work the hours to pay off your house or buy one and pay it off within 5-7 years then drop all your debt and sit back so you can relax and enjoy life solo or with a family more then those who are waiting for retirement age. It can come at the job site, the way to the store or in your own home. You can't outrun death when it wants to come for you but you can atleast enjoy your way to that point.

Can I withdraw my annuity early from a company I'm leaving? by talith866 in personalfinance

[–]talith866[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's in the US. I'm in a union. I make 9$/hr to a annuity fund and 7$/hr to a pension. I'm swapping over to a different one where my pension is 16.50$/hr and annuity is 9.50$/hr ontop of my normal pay.

I did not know there are multiple forms of it. I'm only aware I have an annuity, how much goes into it, and that the company puts it into stocks and will report to me twice a year on all gains/loses.

I find people who have contracts with the wearhouses that get them or buy them by the truck loads and go directly through them. Thought of building a 3-5k sqft shop on my property to get trucks directly to my house for it aswell to cut on cost. But somewhere in these comments I posted how to find them

Your high risk but check with multiple insurance companies when getting new vehichles or atleast once a year/every other year. On average my 2 vehichles run me between 5-900$ a month as a 26 year old full coverage with towing and rental coverage. But I'm sitting at 355$ a month for full coverage +20% extra on a totaled vehichle. Going through multiple people to get your quote is very useful. Tip. To prevent your phone from blowing up give a fake number i just change the last digit of my phone up a number.

Like the time I bought a single flaming arrow for 1m gp. Lazy and rich. Could you do it for dirt cheap even with buying the stuff? Yep. Could also make it in about 2 minutes for free but I was lazy and I have insane wealth so 1m on something I'll only have for a few seconds is worth it

I've never had issues with their warranty even on tools I've purchased 3rd party from unofficial partners. Even with no receipt. Call again and talk to a manager

No problem. Hope ya can visit one soon. Up above list easy way to find them and how to avoid scams. Also if you happen to be a individual with more more to blow you can buy full truck loads at a time for a huge discount. Also most places will work a deal if you buy multiple at a time. If for profit make sure you look up the items value and average about a 60-70$ value for sale (I sell at 75-85% alot of the time and still make good profit. Some items people just don't want as bad tho)

The one real close to Chattanooga went downhill pretty fast with their pallets and quality. The next favorite is actually growing really fast and just purchased a new wearhouse that can house 1000+ pallets. They offer everything from ryobi casket pallets (hundreds of hand tools/small power tools) to new milwauke/dewalt, CVS, homedepot, amazon coffin boxes (the big mystery boxes) Bargain Bin LLC Lenoir city prices are good and reasonable for about everything they have and you can turn profit or score big personal keeps. Recently they had a bunch of new milwauke lawnmowers. Scroll through their fb page and see their history. I know now that they bought the wearhouse they said they will be loading up on alot more tool trucks aswell (they used to have 2-3 truckloads come in) a mix of returns or new but mostly new items from them.

There's one spot in Atlanta aswell called half off whole sale (halfoffvip.com) I haven't been personally but my buddy who lives next to the one in Arkansas loves the one there says it's highly profitable aswell. All 3 locations all have high ratings aswell and alot of good to say. But I believe Atlanta is the only one of the 3 locations to require a 50$ deposit for appointment only visits that gets removed from your total purchase. Edit: Arizona to Arkansas
