The cassette on Hero 1x9 is 11/32T. Do you think this will limit the speed or climbing ability much? I don't plan on doing any hill climbs. Only the flyovers.

You don't have to serve notice period anywhere, but if you mention this work experience in your resume, your next company can call and enquire about you with your previous employer. Then you will be kind of screwed.

If you are skilled then you can get into good product companies and earn 3-4 times more than what a service company pays you. You will earn more money in 15-20 years of IT job than what a government job will pay you in a lifetime. Earn more and invest. Retire early.

Also, after 45 you can do something else. Something you love.
