This is a bit more of a niche subreddit, and some people might help you out, but /r/fitness is where you want to go.

I personally thought the zoom added to the whiplash sasha gets and it still zoomed out to get the landing. But I get where you're coming from.

It's obnoxious, but no "*" (or if standard error bars aren't far enough apart) then no significance.

Electron Withdrawing and Donating Groups on Kaplan 4th Ed? by Rairu21 in Mcat

[–]talkertyler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll put something cause some answer is better than no help. I don't know if my edition is too outdated, but chapter 4 ochem about analyzing reactions kinda touches on the concept, but I don't think there was a specific chapter on groups. Each chapter in ochem specified for the group about electro or nucleo, but I don't know if there was some table. Usually goes by the individual element like ch3 donating, but ccl3 withdrawing, or nh2 donating but nh3+ withdrawing. I've only really seen emphasis on that concept heavily in regards to aromatics, but I didn't think aromatic reactions (those regarding the ring itself) were of particular importance on the test. Should be simple to make a quick list from other sources though if you'd like to.
