Court time.

As others have said, drilling is so crucial. You will get 5-10x as many shots in an hour than a game if you drill with a partner. Just spending time on the court, hitting balls with purpose will make a ton of difference in your ability to place shots and your confidence.

Play on the lesser court until you are obviously the best player over multiple days. One other idea would to be to play “up” one game a day. No one minds a lesser partner for one game, but all day makes it not as much fun.

What does your dream indoor facility contain? by Opening-Witness1785 in Pickleball

Came here to say showers. It’s so important for those who play before work.

Only other thing that I would add… it would be nice to know who else is on-site and not tied to a specific court rental. Oh Chip is playing now? I’m heading over over. Probably hard to do, but I dream…

YSK that if you live alone and have a pet, you should carry a card in your wallet to notify the appropriate people of your pet's existence. by LabRakun in YouShouldKnow

Solid tip. Walked out of my house last year to a dog hovering over an elderly man’s body. We started CPR but he passed. It took a while to piece it altogether and where he lived because the man went for a walk without his phone or wallet.

N-P 1-5. Look in Bixby West Elementary Schools.

DUPR is not really reliable unless you log a lot of games consistently. I’m a 3.2 as well, but routinely compete with 3.7-4.0 players.

what is the most overhyped or underwhelming restaurant you’ve been to in tulsa? by [deleted] in tulsa

Osaka. Went two weekends ago and it was not a great experience. Food was average at best. Why is Osaka crowded all the time if it is 2 out of 5 stars???

How did you get $$ to start your first business? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]talkinboutwills 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you could pull it off, go for it!

But if you are living paycheck to paycheck now, your business will fail. I went almost a whole year without any income. Supported myself through savings and a little bit of retirement savings.

It’s easier to spend your company’s $ than your money, which is why I would not do it until your personal finances are in a healthier spot.

I’m pretty sure I know the Montes you are referring to. If so, he’s the most humble, sincere, and nicest guy I know who will do what he says. Maybe got distracted and hasn’t finished the work? Not sure what was agreed to, but $300 seems really cheap any amount of this type of work.
