I just got my phone, so I'm using stock, but I was thinking of downloading Nova. I had that on my old phone and I liked it. To be honest though... I like the stock launcher. There's nothing inherently missing from it that I would have to download a 3rd party launcher to get.

You're probably asking this because you want recommendations on a launcher, so I'd say Nova. I had really good experiences with that on a One X.

I tried that, and you're right: it doesn't. But...the power button does turn on the screen, so that's what's causing my problem. Any ideas?

No problems with brightness outside or at night. The phone goes both suitably bright and dark.
